What we collect
- Email address and first name — when you sign up for the free preview or our newsletter.
- Order details — when you purchase the book through our checkout provider, SamCart processes your name, email, billing address, and payment information. We never see or store your card details.
- Site usage data — pages visited, device type, approximate location, and interaction events, collected anonymously through Google Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity to help us improve the site.
How we use it
- To deliver the free preview, ebook, audiobook, and Companion Journal you requested.
- To send occasional emails about new chapters, reflections, or related releases — only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To understand how the site is used so we can make it clearer and more useful.
Tools and processors we use
We use trusted third-party services to run the site. They process your data on our behalf:
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — newsletter and free-preview delivery.
- SamCart — checkout, payment processing, and order fulfilment.
- Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — anonymous traffic analytics.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymous heatmaps and session recordings (no personal data captured).
- Simply.com — web hosting.
Cookies
